Ask Your Guides- Card Draw for the week!

New Life:

Each and everyday we are given a chance to do something new. We can create new and ever changing experiences... or, we can just sit in a rut and blame everything around us for not changing. Remember, we are the creators of our own experience. We have the power to create new life in each moment, with each breath we take. Do something creative--write, draw, sing, dance. I know what you are saying: "Umm.. I can't do that stuff." You don't have to be a professional to do these things.. just do them!! It allows your soul to sing. You do not have to share your stuff unless you want to, but it gives you the freedom to create something from within. Remember how much fun it was to fingerpaint, or to make a paper airplane. Just do it... don't limit yourself.

Unconditional Love:

This can be a tough concept for a lot of people. In today's climate, we tend to put conditions on everything. We even have conditions on how much love we give to ourselves. We deem ourselves unworthy of love, or we condemn ourselves to a life of suffering because we have not let go of toxic love. Why do we feel the need to suffer? Let go! How wonderful it would be to be in a place of complete and utter surrender to that unconditional love we could have for ourselves and for others. Let go of the anchors and move forward.

"Today, and everyday I love myself, those around me, and this great big world unconditionally"

"I am in unconditional acceptance of myself, my world, and those I share it with"

Try these affirmations...

Much love to all of you,

Mike

Ask Your Guides- Card Draw for the week!

Boredom:

Oh my what a great card. I try my best not to say that I am bored anymore, but it does slip in. That familiar feeling of noting to do, or repetition of things previously done. We all get into our slumps. I find that it shows us it is time to change. Break old routines and start new ones. Boredom can also be a reflection of an emptiness that we are feeling. So, fill the void. Go out and buy a book.. get something you NEVER would have read otherwise. Explore new movies, art galleries, and just the world around you. Plant a garden, or just buy a flower to take care of. Volunteer. Do something in the world around you...

and that leads us to card number 2...

Community:

I feel that we have slipped away from this word. We have become such a "me" based society that we do not take the time to extend a hand to those that really need it. We look at the homeless, we pass them by, we may offer a few coins. Most of them use to not be in that position, and in this current time... many of us are just a breath away from being there ourselves. Treat the world as you want to be treated. Create community everywhere you are. We are all one. We are all connected. Strengthen bonds, and create new experiences and connections. Extend help where you can, and do not be too proud to accept help yourself.

Each day brings us so many wonderful and new opportunities... experiences... chances... possibilities...

Much love to you all...

Mike Brazell

Angel Card Draw for the day: Expansiveness and Simplicity

Today my lovelies you get two for the price of one!

Expansiveness:

Ahh... each and every day is a new day for us to spread those little wings. Why do we spend so much time locking ourselves into our own little boxes? So far away and detached from who we really are. One of the best ways to expand oneself is to imagine, create, and be lie a child. Children really are amazing teachers. They can make a box into a house, or into an airplane. They color outside the lines, and it's ok. We spend our lives as adults trying to stay within those lines. We never imagine, or pretend anymore. When is the last time you built a fort with your table and a sheet? See, why do we stop. When we stop imagining we stop truly expanding ourselves into that great unknown. Create, build a fort--go do it now!!

Simplicity:

What a great word. We truly do make things harder than they need to be. The best solution to any problem is usually the one that is right in front of us. Usually we over analyze or we dissect the crap out of something and we never really get to see it at face value. Simple is good.

Let this be our mantra for today:

I am ever expanding in new, beautiful, and simple ways. My imagination overflows with the creativity of a child, the beauty of a star, and the openness of the sky.

Much love to you all...

Namaste,

Mike

Angel Card Draw for the day: Compassion

This is a really great word. There are so many ways to extend compassion into this great big world. Do not forget however to be compassionate to self, and to your own needs. Having worked in as a professional activist for many years, I can understand the need and the want to help others. So often we will do so at our own sacrifice... but remember--if you are too tired, too broken, and too burnt out to do the work, who will? Be compassionate to your need for rest, your need for love, and your need to connect to the oneness that is.

Extend compassion to not only those closest to you, but to those that share this planet with us. Visit/volunteer at a shelter, go vegetarian/vegan, stop purchasing from companies that test products on animals. There is so much that you can do, without even doing very much.

Say thank you to those that are in service to us--the waitress, the cashier at the grocery, the barista... and be sincere and give it without expectation.

I love each and every one of you...

Namaste,

Mike

Angel Card draw for the day: Patience

This is a great word. One we can all relate to, but how many of us actually apply it? I for one have never been one for patience. I try, but it often eludes me. I can be very Zen up to a point, but then life happens. There is a happy balance to waiting for things. It gives you a lot more time to appreciate the flow life brings. Good things come to those who wait.. and waiting can be enjoyable if we choose it to be. We have truly become a society of now, now, now. Have you ever bought something in a hurry and then it went on sale the next day? Life can be that way sometimes with those things we really want. Now, I'm not saying just never take action. You must take action... but, don't expect the universe to do ALL the work either. Take a leap, enjoy the ride down, and flap your wings. Just don't run so fast to the edge that you forget to put your wings on.

Much love, light and hope.
Mike
